How much of the code do you need to understand when an AI writes it?
A learner building an agent loop understands the code and API calls, but when Claude Code generates a large LangGraph workflow the volume becomes unreadable even though all tests pass. The question is where understanding actually matters: the seams where data enters, branches, and can fail silently.
